Return to Library 2020: Using the Library

This guide provides information for library users on returning to the library in autumn 2020, and quick links to resources and information.

Using the Library

Welcome back to the Library for those returning and a warm welcome to those joining us for the first time.

In order to use the libraries in Carlow and Wexford this year you must follow a range of protocols. All study seats and PCs must be booked online and in advance. The number of seats and PCs available are significantly reduced following public health guidelines. Cleaning material and sanitisation stations are available throughout the buildings so please clean your hands and use cleaning material before and after use. One way systems are in place so please be guided by the arrows on the floor. If you are going upstairs in the LRC you must use the side stairs.

Books can be borrowed using our new Click & Collect system. Our online library continues to be available from our library website where we have a vast array of ebooks and ejournals available for you to use.

Library staff are here to help you so please get in touch with us. If you have any general questions please email LibraryHelp@itcarlow.ie. We welcome your feedback.
