Equality, Diversity & Inclusivity (EDI)

Outline of resources, collections and library initiatives related to key areas in Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity

Welcome to the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Guide

This guide will introduce EDI and curate information and resources related to EDI themes and issues.

It will highlight information resources in a range of formats including books, social media, films, podcasts and include resources available through SETU Carlow Libraries, public libraries and free online resources.

EDI at SETU Carlow

SETU is committed to providing an environment of inclusivity and equality which values diversity and inclusion for all students and staff. The University website offers more detail on the subject here, including a freely available copy of the official policy.

The library is happy to contribute to this initiative, both as a part of the wider campus community and within its own remit as an academic library. In this LibGuide, you can find several ebooks on relevant topics, ranging from gender equality and racial equality to more specific issues such as mental health support and consent. These titles are accessed through the library's digital collection on EBook Central - log in with your SETU Carlow credentials for full access.
