Open Access Publishing with Cambridge

As part of the IREL agreement with Cambridge University Press, students and faculty at SETU can now submit articles for open access publishing without any processing fees. Eligible authors must be affiliated with SETU at the time of publication.

The allocation of APCs for 2025 is listed here or below, on screen. It is essential to verify the remaining APC quota with the library.

The agreement covers almost all CUP hybrid and fully open access journals. A small number of journals may either not offer OA or may require authors to transfer copyright - these journals are listed here

For further information about publishing OA with Cambridge under this IRel deal please contact the Lifelong Learning & Research Services Librarian Kirsteen.Walters@setu.ie or Deputy Librarian Breda.Connell@setu.ie
